This session of the PDPM Master Class Series will review considerations for advancing clinical capabilities and care delivery under PDPM. Focus of this webinar will be on strengthening or developing care delivery processes by way of evaluating the opportunity for clinical programs, marketing clinical scope, and assuring success through facility policy, QAPI, and Facility Assessment review.

Learning Objectives

1. Identify opportunities for care delivery advancements under PDPM

2. Understand how the Facility Assessment and QAPI processes can aid in determination and monitoring of changes in facility practice related to clinical complexity and care provision

3. Develop marketing techniques to promote physician, hospital, and community involvement

Course Content

  • 30 minutes Review and evaluate potential areas of opportunity regarding meeting increased medical complexity needs under PDPM
  • 20 minutes Discuss the Facility Assessment and QAPI in terms of evaluating potential changes in resident population and identifying resources needed to provide necessary care and services
  • 10 minutes Review marketing strategies to showcase outcomes-based data and promote clinical programs
  • 5 minutes Closing Comments/Q&A

Continuing Education

The Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities is an approved provider of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing, #5-0002.  To receive the 1.25 contact hours, you must complete the entire program. Certificates may be printed once the program evaluation is submitted. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 502-425-3431. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted. Cancellations received no later than Sept 29 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between September 29 to October 5  will receive a refund of 1/2. Registrants who do not attend or who do not complete the full seminar will not receive a refund unless prior written notice is given to the KAHCF office.
