Webinar: COVID-19- Stories & Lessons From the Front Lines

Webinar: COVID-19- Stories & Lessons From the Front Lines
Since early this year, our long term care providers have been dealing with some of the worst times imaginable. COVID-19 has taken a deadly toll on Kentucky’s nursing facilities, the healthcare service providers that help them, and our high-risk elders. Over 64% of Kentucky’s deaths from COVID-19 are in long term care. These health care heroes have really shown what true dedication and heart is while they walk into a battlefield every day. They have sacrificed themselves and their family’s safety in order to protect those who are most vulnerable. This COVID-19 update gets away from the lengthy and ever-changing guidance and speaks to your fellow long term care colleague and friend. We hear some of their stories they are facing every day, what they have learned, and what they see for the future of long term care.

During this webinar you’ll hear from individuals with a myriad of experience with Covid-19. What did they wish they had known before it hit their building? How did they handle staffing? How did they deal with the negative media? How did they handle communication? How did they personally handle the stress? Prepare for the fall flu/Covid-19 season with help from those who have been there.
